About pendinmy

pendinmy was founded in Quận 1 with a simple belief: that a well-maintained watch is more than an accessory — it is a companion that marks the hours of a life. Our name draws from the quiet, steady motion at the heart of every mechanical movement, and from the familial bonds that timepieces so often represent.

What began as a modest service bench has grown into a climate-controlled studio equipped with professional timing instruments calibrated to Swiss standards. We work on movements both old and new, from mass-produced quartz pieces to hand-wound calibers with decades of wear. Each one arrives with a story, and we treat that story with care.

Our approach is unhurried. We prefer thorough assessments over rushed estimates, and we believe that explaining a diagnosis clearly is just as important as performing the repair itself. If a watch doesn't need extensive work, we will say so plainly. That kind of candor has been the foundation of every lasting relationship we have built with the people who entrust their watches to us.

Situated along Lý Tự Trọng in the Bến Thành ward, we are accessible from most areas of the city. Walk-ins are welcome for initial consultations, and appointments can be arranged for more involved discussions. We look forward to seeing what you bring through the door.

Our Standards

The practices we hold ourselves to, day after day, regardless of the watch on the bench.

Climate-Controlled Environment

Temperature and humidity levels are kept within a narrow range to protect sensitive components during disassembly and reassembly — particularly important in Vietnam's tropical conditions.

Professional-Grade Tooling

Our instruments include timegrapher units calibrated to Swiss standards, ultrasonic cleaning baths, precision screwdrivers, and anti-magnetic workstations. Equipment is maintained on a regular schedule.

Documented Processes

Every service is photographed and recorded. Owners receive a service report detailing what was found, what was done, and any recommendations for future maintenance.

Secure Storage

Client watches are stored in a secure, insured environment with controlled access. Each watch is individually tracked from intake through to collection.

Original Parts Preservation

Whenever components must be replaced, we return the originals to the owner. If a part can be restored rather than swapped, restoration is our preference.

Ongoing Training

Our team stays current with developments in lubricant technology, material science, and restoration methods through professional workshops and trade literature.

What We Stand For

The horological trade rewards patience. A single repair can involve hundreds of tiny components, each interdependent, each requiring a steady hand and a clear mind. We do not take shortcuts, and we do not pretend that speed is a substitute for attentiveness. When a watch leaves our studio, it leaves in a condition that reflects careful, deliberate work — nothing more, nothing less.

Watch repair in Hồ Chí Minh City carries its own set of considerations. Tropical heat and humidity place particular demands on gaskets, lubricants, and case seals. Our workflow accounts for these regional factors at every step, from the products we use to the way we store movements between service stages. We believe that a watch repaired here should be a watch prepared for the conditions here.

Whether the piece on our bench is a well-traveled automatic picked up at a market in Sài Gòn or a family heirloom carried across generations, it receives the same standard of attention. That consistency is not something we promote — it is simply how we work.
